Wynnewood’s Jeffrey Lurie, Eagles CEO, Honored with Living Legacy Award

November 20, 2023 – Jeffrey Lurie, Chairman and CEO of the Philadelphia Eagles and Wynnewood resident, was recently honored by the Urban Affairs Coalition, writes Yahoo.

On Friday, November 17, Lurie was honored with the Living Legacy Award during the Urban Affairs Coalition’s 54th Anniversary breakfast event at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. 

The Living Legacy Award is presented to someone who has made exceptional contributions to improve quality of life in and around the Greater Philadelphia region.

Lurie was honored for his strong commitment to serving the community through various charitable initiatives, including the Eagles Youth Partnership, which was founded in 1995. 

He was one of four individuals honored during the annual event.

In addition to Lurie, Calvin Butler, President and CEO of Exelon, was presented with the “Doer Award”; Estelle Richman, executive director of The Civic Coalition to Save Lives, was honored with the Community Leadership Award; and Gregory Deavens, President and CEO of Independence Blue Cross, was the recipient of the UAC Founders’ Award.

“These outstanding honorees … show the true power of what we can do when we work together. We are so proud to honor these leaders for their dedication and commitment, and for the impact their work has made on individuals’ lives,”  said Sharmain Matlock-Turner, CEO of the Urban Affairs Coalition.
